Thirteen thousand feet, a door that slides open mid-flight, and about four seconds of pure regret right before the jump that vanished the second we were actually falling. Sixty seconds of freefall feels like both nothing and forever at the same time — there’s no real way to describe it that does it justice, which is exactly why this page exists.
The parachute opening was somehow the loudest quiet moment of the whole day: total silence, drifting slowly, the ground finally looking like a place instead of a blur. Taylor screamed the entire way down. Sam didn’t stop smiling for an hour afterward.
Would we do it again? Immediately, given the chance. This page is only an example of how a single big adrenaline moment can be saved here — video, photos, and all.
Four seconds of regret, sixty seconds of freefall, and total silence once the parachute opened.
