Account information (name, email), payment details (processed by our payment provider — we do not store card numbers ourselves), and the photos, videos, audio, documents, and personal details (names, dates of birth, dates of passing) you choose to upload.

Children’s and deceased individuals’ information

Because this service is used to preserve family history, uploaded content may include photos and information about minors and deceased individuals, added by a family member on their behalf. We handle this information with the same care and access controls as any other content on your private family site.

How we use your data

To provide the service you’re paying for — storing, organizing, and displaying your family’s content back to you and whoever you choose to share it with. We do not sell your data or your family’s content.

Third parties who process data on our behalf

We work with third-party providers for payment processing and secure file storage. These providers only access what’s necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Data retention and deletion

Content is retained indefinitely, even through a payment lapse, per our Permanence Promise. If you’d like your account and its content permanently deleted, contact us and we’ll help you through that process.
